Adult Day Services
Now available to serve Veterans using Veteran’s Benefits!
This program began over fifteen years ago answering the need to help family members keep their loved ones in their home. This program relieves caregivers during the day so they may continue being an active part of our community. Adult Day Services focuses on providing activities and programs that help fulfill the physical, mental, social, and emotional needs of each participant.
If you would like to bring Shared Snacks/Cakes/Meals etc., please complete our Outside Food Source Request Form by clicking the button below.
How We Are Funded:
This program is a reality through participant fees, State of Alaska Home and Community Based Grant, Medicaid, Kenai Peninsula Borough Grant, United Way Grant, Veteran’s Benefits and the generous donations from the residents of our community.
Volunteers Make a Difference:
Volunteers make up an essential part of this program. Visiting the participants, reading, musical performances, crafts and games. Our local High School is a vital partner. The Swing Choir performs annually at Christmas and in the Spring.
If you would like to volunteer please contact our Activities/Volunteer Coordinator at (907) 235-7655.
